Location

Chez Evans can be found in the hamlet of La Villatte situated within the départment of Creuse, which is part of the Limousin region in central France.

The Cruese a very tranquil rural area, typified by its rolling hills and dales, also has some spectacular gorges.

Guéret, the departmental capital, is 25 km away and the cultural centre of Limoges is 75 km distant.

Nearby there are many outdoor beauty spots, leisure and activity areas.

The nearest village (1km), Colondannes, has a restaurant.

The nearest town is Dun Le Palestel (3km), which has many shops, including an Intermarche supermarket, some bars and the Hotel Joly restaurant. Dun Le Palestel has a weekly market and is also the centre for doctor, dentist and emergency services.

The nearest large town is La Souterraine (19km), which has direct trains to Paris and Limoges. La Souterraine has a large number of shops and other businesses, including main dealership garages, as well as a number of restaurants and bars with a bi-weekly market.
