Free Museums

There are many businesses that depend or profit from Teachers taking school groups on visits. In recognition of this many Museums, and Galleries, etc will give free pre-visits to teachers. We are working to compile a list of co-operating Institutions.

History of beer brewing. Free family tickets so that teachers can visit at the weekend.

Haig Colliery Mining Museum, Whitehaven, Cumbria.
A restored deep coal mine, with two huge steam winding engines.
